¡Hola!

I’m Iza, a Spanish living in Sweden and I decided to change sunny days for cold and dark winters because I fell in love with pottery.

From Spain to Sweden

I come from a little fisherman village in Málaga I moved to Sweden to do my exchange year to study a degree on industrial design engineering.

By that time I met my boss and mentor Lisa Wohlfahrt who runs Mölle Krukmakeri who taught me about clay, throwing and the most important, making a living out of ceramics. Also I learnt from her that pottery is about keep going but not rushing, being focused on the process and not on the outcome and keeping things easy, simple and practical.

This really resonated with me and the lifestyle I wanted to have. So that’s why I decided to move to Kullabygden, Sweden.

Now I want to apply everything I have learnt with my boss along these six years working with her on my own ceramics. Making pieces based on simplicity and functionality blending Scandinavian simplicity with Mediterranean charm, resulting in daily use pieces handmade to enhance your home.
